Finding and using information to help you locally
Steve Ollier, Strategy and Performance Unit, RBG
Knowing what support is available locally can make a huge difference but many carers tell us it’s not always easy to find the right information or stay up to date. Join Steve for an informative and practical session on how to access and make the most of the wide range of local resources available to you. He will introduce the Community Directory, local publications (print and online) and key sources of information about services and support. This session will also explore how to stay connected and informed, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and ensure you don’t miss out on opportunities, activities and support.

Check in with council: are commissioned services working for you?

Do you feel involved in how services are chosen and developed? Tell Em what is working and what needs to change. She will also be giving an updates on changes that may affect you and your loved one.
